Business Meeting

 

Call to order

Robert McDonald called to order the regular meeting of the Little River Gun Club at 07:00 PM on December 14, 2011 in the LRGC club house.

Roll Call

A sign in sheet was made available to all members in attendance. The following members signed the sheet and were present:

Treasurers Report

Hugh Butler read the treasurers report and copies are available for anyone to review.

 

Approval of minutes from last meeting

Copies of the minutes were passed out and Gary Hewitt read the minutes. A motion was made to accept, seconded and a unanimous vote to accept the minutes as read.

 

Range Officer Report

 

Rifle & Pistol Range:

No safety issues to report.

If anyone observes the individual(s) shooting a shotgun on the pistol range, or violating any rules please advise one of the officers or board members – your name will not be disclosed if you wish to remain anonymous.

Shotgun Venues

 

Committee Reports

      Walter Shealy will report on new shoot schedule for 2012 at the January meeting and Larry Griffin suggested that the senior members be allowed to shoot first during the matches.

           

Open Issues

a)      Adding third person to checking account – Gary and/or Richard will discuss with bank and report in January.

b)      Cypress trees will be purchased as voted on earlier in the year – Ricky Henson will check on availability and purchase trees.

 

New Issues

a)      New member applications – David Albright – motion to accept as new member approved

b)      Review of member/s who have reached the end of the probation period – no one to review

c)      New business from floor –

·         David Morgan reported sale of old machines for a total of $800.00 – a suggestion was made to take old skeet machines to Howell for repair before installation on 5-Stand.

·         David Morgan reported that shotgun pattern board has been damaged with buckshot and if anyone knows who did it to please let the officers know so proper action can be taken.

·         Gary Lane reported that he had wired both skeet machines so we no longer need to unplug transformers – with a flip of the switch everything is on or off.
