Carrollton, Georgia 30117 Business Meeting Call to order Robert McDonald called to order the regular meeting of the Little River Gun Club at 07:15 PM EST on July 8, 2009 in the club house. Roll Call A sign in sheet was made available to all members in attendance. The following members signed the sheet and were present: Robert McDonald Mike Green Gary Hewitt Hugh Butler Jeff Thorpe Clarence Reeves Bob Wilson Larry Griffin Ricky Henson Bill Smith Mike Redmond Edward Perez Jimmy Sulllivan Bob Scherm David Willard Treasurers Report Hugh Butler read the treasurers report and copies are available for anyone to review. A motion was made to accept, seconded and a unanimous vote to accept the report as reported. Approval of minutes from last meeting Copies of the minutes were passed out and Gary Hewitt read the minutes. A motion was made to accept, seconded and a unanimous vote to accept the minutes as read. Range Officer Report Rifle & Pistol Range: No report provided – nothing new to report. If anyone observes the individual(s) shooting a shotgun on the pistol range, or violating any rules please advise one of the officers or board members – your name will not be disclosed if you wish to remain anonymous. Shotgun Venues: 5 Stand has been modified for the upcoming month of July when Wednesday night shooters will be gathering to test their skills. Member Only Competition: The egg shoot date has not been provided and will not be rescheduled until a later date. Committee Reports Open Issues a) Electrical work still going on – but the entrance cable for the power has been relocated and the new power panel is in place. b) Berm addition to rifle range – work was completed work day. c) Power usage report – bill not received for current month. d) Work day was a huge success – 34 members were present. Thanks to all. New Issues a) New member applications – approved five new members. Motion to accept and vote carried without objection. Jeff Griffith, Randy Todd, Shannon Morgan, Bobby Stinchcomb, and Charles Snider are the new members. b) Review of members who have reached the end of the probation period – Chris W Bell, Jerry Rice, Mike Redmond, David Williams, John Piasta, Kevin Webster, James Disney. Review revealed positive findings and a motion was made to accept and vote carried without objection c) Need updated contact information as email is being used to communicate LRGC events – those members who do not have email should provide current phone numbers (Gary called three members and the numbers had been disconnected). Adjournment Robert McDonald adjourned the meeting at approximately 7:53 PM EST.
