Business Meeting Robert McDonald called to order the regular meeting
of the Little River Gun Club at A sign in sheet was made available to all members in
attendance. The following members signed the sheet and were present:

Treasurers
Report Hugh Butler read the treasurers report and copies are
available for anyone to review. A motion was made to accept, seconded
and a unanimous vote to accept the report as reported.
Approval of
minutes from last meeting Copies of the minutes were passed out and Gary Hewitt
read the minutes. A motion was made to accept, seconded and a unanimous
vote to accept the minutes as read. Shotshell wads on pistol range – no shotgun shells
are to be shot on pistol range not even for those pistols that are
chambered for these shells. Use rifle range for these pistols. Mike reported that some new spent rounds have been
identified in the wall located on top of the pistol berm. If anyone observes the individual(s) shooting a
shotgun on the pistol range, or violating any rules please advise one
of the officers or board members – your name will not be disclosed if
you wish to remain anonymous. Shotgun
Venues Mike requested that if anyone needs clay targets
moved to let him know and he and several of the other members moved
some recently and will continue to do so. New shooting schedule for club matches – matches
begin No safety issues to report at this time. Open Issues
a)
Power usage report – slight increase $200.00 to
$230.00.
b)
Ceiling fans for skeet and trap range covered
area have been installed.
c)
Gravel on rifle and pistol range – work day
activity – Ricky Henson will get gravel delivered.
d)
Tree planting along 5 stand – get three trees -
wait until fall
e)
Fan requested under shelter near grills – three
requested – Robert McDonald will contact someone and provide update.
f)
50 yard rifle berm needs attention – need clean
dirt to raise and replenish berm – Ricky Henson will get dirt delivered
g)
April 9th work day – paint interior
to be added to list
h)
Purchase of microwave ovens – one purchased,
purchase new white board, purchase rolling cook table
i)
Discussion about satellite dish, projector and
HVAC installation – put to vote and satellite, projector and HVAC was
voted down.
j)
Janitorial bids – contract awarded for $110.00
per month and will include cleaning club house, bathrooms and emptying
trash receptacles located at each range.

Review of member/s who have reached the end of
the probation period – James Harper
c)
New business from floor – covers needed for
machines on 5-Stand (3) – motion on floor to purchase, voted and
approved – Ricky Henson will handle purchase of three covers at $135.00
each. Rifle range
expansion, trim trees and build up berm to shield Skeet field.
Replace toilets and sinks in both restrooms – Dave Reynolds will
handle this task.
