Carrollton, Georgia 30117 Business Meeting Call to order Robert McDonald called to order the regular meeting of the Little River Gun Club at 07:10 PM EST on May 12,, 2010 in the club house. Roll Call A sign in sheet was made available to all members in attendance. The following members signed the sheet and were present: Robert McDonald Mike Green Gary Hewitt Hugh Butler Larry Griffin Jimmy Sullivan John Van Camp Bob Scherm Frank Searcy Bob Wilson David Willard Jeremy Smith Charles Snider Walter Shealy Joe Richards Ed Perez Danny Shoemake Mike Disney Ricky Henson Jeff Thorpe Twenty members present Treasurers Report Hugh Butler read the treasurers report and copies are available for anyone to review. A motion was made to accept, seconded and a unanimous vote to accept the report as reported. Approval of minutes from last meeting Copies of the minutes were passed out and Gary Hewitt read the minutes. A motion was made to accept, seconded and a unanimous vote to accept the minutes as read. Range Officer Report Rifle & Pistol Range: No safety issues reported at this time; however, someone has already shot a post on the pistol range. Trap award for April was presented to Mike Green as winner. Committee has been tasked to review the range rules and reword as necessary to make them more understandable and add rules about range safety. Rifle, pistol and shotgun shooters are members of the committee. If anyone observes the individual(s) shooting a shotgun on the pistol range, or violating any rules please advise one of the officers or board members – your name will not be disclosed if you wish to remain anonymous. Shotgun Venues 5 Stand was league shoot for May but no shotgun venues will be shot for June and July. June will be slow fire handgun from 50 ft. Committee Reports Open Issues a) Electrical work completed. b) Power usage report – $129.00 c) Leak in ladies bathroom roof around vent pipe – roof repaired over both bathrooms. d) Tires have been removed e) Tires on storage trailer – will have update in June f) Work day scheduled for May - update g) Trap machine repairs – ? h) Cook Stove was addressed and additional research is being done to locate a replacement stove. i) Rifle range bench – when is it going to be finished?
New Issues a) New member applications – Tony Williams b) Review of members who have reached the end of the probation period – None to review for the month of December d) New business from floor – Reminder of Youth Camp scheduled for June 7th and 8th at LRGC and email to be sent to members with email informing them of event.
