Business Meeting

 

Call to order

Robert McDonald called to order the regular meeting of the Little River Gun Club at 07:30 PM EST on November 10, 2010 in the club house.

 

Roll Call

A sign in sheet was made available to all members in attendance. The following members signed the sheet and were present:

Treasurers Report

Hugh Butler read the treasurers report and copies are available for anyone to review. A motion was made to accept, seconded and a unanimous vote to accept the report as reported. 

 

Approval of minutes from last meeting

Copies of the minutes were passed out and Gary Hewitt read the minutes. A motion was made to accept, seconded and a unanimous vote to accept the minutes as read.

 

Range Officer Report

Rifle & Pistol Range:

Nothing to report.

If anyone observes the individual(s) shooting a shotgun on the pistol range, or violating any rules please advise one of the officers or board members – your name will not be disclosed if you wish to remain anonymous.

 

Shotgun Venues

Nothing to report at this time.

 

Committee Reports

 

Open Issues

a)      Power usage report – $140.00

b)      Turkey shoot and raffle – results reported in financial report.

c)      Election of officer for 2011 – all officers remained the same as 2010

d)      Ceiling fans for skeet and trap range covered area – bids will be accepted for work report given in December

        

New Issues

a)      New member applications – none presented for November

b)      Review of  members who have reached the end of the probation period –  None

c)      New business from floor – target boards for pistol and rifle range (ordered) bids for moving clay targets to each shooting venue – still open for bids to move

d)      Remote control unit needed for Skeet field – to be ordered and update provided in December.
